AAPS is thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate Program, designed to prepare students for a fulfilling career in healthcare and community services. With the growing demand for skilled PSWs across the country, this program offers a comprehensive blend of theoretical learning, hands-on training, and real-world experience, equipping you with the expertise to excel in this essential profession.


The program kicks off on April 7, 2025, and spans 35 weeks, including 300 hours of clinical placements. Students will engage in an innovative hybrid learning model, combining the flexibility of online education with practical in-person training. You’ll learn from industry-leading instructors and train in our state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring you’re workforce-ready upon graduation.


AAPS's PSW program emphasizes critical areas such as personal hygiene, safety, mobility, cognitive health, and more. You’ll also develop a gentle persuasive approach and learn to assist clients with medications, nutrition, and end-of-life care. Our curriculum is tailored to provide holistic training, preparing you for diverse roles in long-term care homes, private residences, hospitals, and community health settings.
