Edito : The e-Commerce Convention effects are now in their third stage. After the exhibition, and the following days, very active too, we are currently in the implementation of the projects we met.
Many new partnerships are in sight, new references... We let you discover some of them this week!
Happy reading! :-)
Discover our Online Translations Tool!
Our online translation tool sees its development making great strides. Dear friends, translators and contributors, get ready to participate!
You can use our tool to submit your proposals for the software translations: this allows you to translate directly from Prestashop.com solution, without passing by the back office of your e-shop.
Also, we will soon reunite languages managers, who will validate the various submissions from our Community, before including them in the downloadable translation files.
If your language is not yet available, you can send us a translation file, made from the back office of PrestaShop, directly to contact@prestashop.com. Your language will be included in the tool by us before being completed by our Community.
Our goal is to provide our growing community and increasingly international, with reliable and updated translations following the developments of our software, and for this... We need you!
Many new partnerships!
PrestaShop is proud to welcome two new Gold certified partners : Bysoft and Quadra Informatique. These agencies have shown their skills about our software and have acquired the highest level of our certifications.
After the e-Commerce Convention, numerous agencies have contacted us, and we now select those likely to respond to merchants requests we receive.
If you are an agency, and if you also want to be part of our Certified Partners, please contact us.
About the development: modifications on the SVN version
We are currently fixing an important bug encountered on pricing. We have so far fixed this in the PDF invoices, before a full validation, which will resolve the bug in the whole software. For more information, please visit this link
Moreover, other bugs have been fixed on the SVN version this week:
- Opera 9: fields were not clickable when registering a new customer
- A bug was present on the search function, and brought out disabled products
For a complete list of changes made, please visit the SVN.

The shop of the week
To those who doubt about their spelling, who fear misspellings, Correction-de-Fautes.com offers spell checking services. A little trite service, offered via a nicely customized PrestaShop store.
Visit the PrestaShop ShowcaseOn PrestaStore : Payment modules
If there is a critical step in a purchase from an online store, this is the payment.
With PrestaShop, it is very easy to begin an e-commerce activity, thanks to the modules like PayPal, Google Checkout, check, bank transfer and cash, included in the solution.
However, payment by credit card is often the most used by online shoppers.
On PrestaStore, you will find modules for major banks and virtual payment terminals, but also modules for payment in multiple installments without expenses, additional guarantees or grouped payments! Most of them have been developed by the PrestaShop Team, one more security guarantee.
If you do not find what you need on PrestaStore, you can also suggest us to develop new modules that match your needs. Do not hesitate to contact us!
This newsletter is primarily yours. Please send us any comments or suggestions you may have, writing to newsletter@prestashop.com.
See you next week!
The PrestaShop Team
