Mr. Anand has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the global cannabis industry. He is a public speaker and is regularly engagedwithCanadianand International media on all subjects related to the Cannabis industry.

Within the global cannabis sector, Mr. Anand has worked with senior government officials, politicians, policymakers, health professional organizations, clinical practitioners, educators, investors, patients as well as producers. He has also served on the boards of various pharmaceutical associations across Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Currently, Mr. Anand serves on a variety of boards within the international cannabis space which include not-for-profit, advocacy, and patient-driven organizations.

Dr. Lucas C. McCann is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at CannDelta Inc. where he provides scientific oversight on all projects. A medicinal organic chemist by training, Lucas acquired regulatory knowledge within the Regulatory and Operations Enforcement Branch for Health Products within Health Canada before moving into the private consulting space.

Leveraging his science background he has catapulted himself to the frontlines, where technology, cannabis, and regulation interface. He specializes in chemical synthesis, laboratory processes, and building science-forward cannabis companies. Lucas guides his clients through Health Canada’s Cannabis Regulations and the licensing process by working to create compliant business and scientific strategies for start-ups to publicly traded licensed producers.

Vasiliki Koutsandrea moved to Canada where she initially worked as a Supervisor in the Seafood industry. Her job duties were mainly to maintain hygiene and sanitation of the site as well as the quality of the product and that is why she decided to study and expand her knowledge in Quality Assurance. In 2017, she attended the “Quality Assurance and Regulatory affairs in Pharma, Food and Cosmetics” program at the AAPS and she earned a post-graduate diploma.

In addition to the above, in 2017, she participated in the scientific publication titled “Molecular determinants of radiosensitivity in normal and tumor tissue: A bioinformatic approach” in Cancer Letters.

She strongly believes in Quality and Continuous Improvement as well as Data analysis for trending, risk mitigation, and problem-solving. For that reason, she pursued and earned the following Certifications: “Data Analyst with Python”, “Six Sigma Methodology and Lean Production”, “Preventive Control Plan and Safe Food For Canadians Regulations Application”.
