As the C of A is a technical document in nature, QA without laboratory experience can find it difficult to fully understand.
As well, during an audit, QA must be able to justify which methods were used for testing and why? What the specifications should be if the product is used for inhalation vs. ingestion? What tests are required for dried cannabis vs. extracts?
Understanding the C of A is crucial for product release. Improper approvals can lead to adverse effects, complaints, recalls, or regulatory action.
