Here at AAPS, we are one o the few institutions with official permission by Health Canada to use Cannabis products for educational purposes after receiving our R&D license back in 2021 .

Our CAN08 lab focuses on the quality control and analytical testing requirements for Cannabis products. Various laboratory techniques such as wet chemistry, HPLC and microbiology are taught and practiced in the laboratory. Concepts such as quality control, certificate of analysis (CofA), product specification, and good laboratory practices and reporting requirements are discussed in depth.
